AXA Achievement Scholarship - For applicants who are active in their community, have led a project that benefits others, or have overcome personal challenges. Apply online at www.axa.com/achievers. Further information is available in the Student Services Office. Deadline is December 14, 2018.
Michigan Education Association Scholarship - Student must be a dependent of an MEA member or MEA-retired member in good standing. Student will attend a Michigan public community/junior college, four-year degree-granting institution or vocational training institution that grants a degree, certification or license. Apply online at https://mea.org/mea-scholarship/. Further information is available in the Student Services Office. Scholarship deadline is February 21, 2019.
PFCU Scholarship - Available to seniors who are members of PFCU. Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA. Apply online at www.pfcu4me.com under the community tab. Further information available in the Student Services Office. Deadline is March 15, 2019.
Seniors: Saginaw Valley State University is offering a fee waiver; for those completing an application in October write AMARMCAN in the waiver space on the application. Those applying in November should use the code AMARMMP.
Grand Ledge High School is extremely proud to announce and offer congratulations to Tony Rodeman, our National Merit Semi-finalist this year!
Tony Rodeman (son of Linda and Kevin Rodeman) scored in the top 1-percent of the 1.6 million juniors nationwide who took the PSAT last year. He now has the opportunity to continue in the competition for 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth over $30,000,000.00 that will be offered next spring.
Tony is a GLHS Comet Marching Band Sr. Drum Major, is/has been a French horn/Mellophone section leader in the Grand Ledge High School Wind Symphony and GLHS Comet Marching Band, is a member of National Honor Society, participates in Quiz Bowl and our PALs (Peer Assistance Leaders) program. He has also run Cross Country.
